The high-efficiency thickener mainly consists of the tank, bridge component, drive component, feeding component (feed well), rake frame component, control system, hydraulic system, and testing instruments.

Slurry first enters the thickener feed component, where dilution and dynamic mixing with flocculant occurs. After fine mineral particles react with flocculant to form flocs, they enter the thickener tank and undergo free settling, hindered settling, and compression settling processes, ultimately forming high-concentration slurry with underflow concentration typically between 40-55%.

  Feed well: Features slurry dilution function, available in active or passive modes. Active dilution involves an opening in the feed well that uses specific gravity differences between slurry and supernatant to allow clear water entry, saving energy. Passive dilution installs a dilution pump in the feed well to pump supernatant into it, allowing adjustable dilution water volume.

  Hydraulic drive: Minimizes impact load. Hydraulic transmission features "soft start" characteristics with low torque and low power startup, reducing component wear during startup.Uses pressure sensors for precise torque monitoring.Features rake lifting function. When significant torque changes create a risk of rake bogging, the rake frame can be lifted to an appropriate position.

  Drive unit self-protection: Pressure sensors on the drive system continuously monitor system pressure. Pressure signals control underflow discharge and rake frame lifting/lowering to prevent rake bogging.

  Rake frame components:
  Capable of withstanding high torque to prevent mechanical rake frame fracture. Provides excellent sludge scraping effect, efficiently scraping slurry from the conical tank bottom to the equipment base, preventing rake bogging.
