EN Equipment Flotation Flotation Cell HIF Flotation Cell
HIF Flotation Cell

Inheriting the advantages of the classic KYF flotation cell, the HIF flotation cell is a new-generation large-scale aerated mechanical stirring flotation cell. It can be used for roughing, scavenging, and cleaning operations, with a maximum specification of 680 m³, which can meet the needs of mines with an annual output of over ten million tons. It is suitable for the recovery of coarse-grained minerals in non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals, and can effectively improve the recovery rate of dissociated or poorly intergrown coarse-grained minerals

Applications:

It can be used alone to form a flotation process or combined with KYF flotation cells according to the characteristics of roughing, scavenging, and cleaning operations. It is mainly suitable for the flotation of coarse-grained and high-specific-gravity minerals or tailings reprocessing operations
Technical Features:
  • 01
    The HIF series flotation cell adopts a new architecture with five hydrodynamic zones, namely the circulation zone, mixing zone, transport zone, separation zone, and froth zone of the flotation cell
  • 02
    The impeller circulation rate of a single unit is increased by 10%-20%, significantly improving mineralization efficiency. The short transport zone is conducive to the recovery of coarse-grained intergrown minerals
  • 03
    The flotation cell has a low inlet air pressure, 15%-25% lower than that of the standard KYF flotation cell, leading to low power consumption of the blower
  • 04
    The centrally installed impeller, used in conjunction with a draft tube and bottom circulation channels, provides a larger circulation volume and strong full-load startup capability
  • 05
    The equal-slope froth launder design reduces the probability of froth deposition;
  • 06
    The overflow weir length is designed to have strong adaptability to production fluctuations, accelerating froth recovery
