KLM Vertical Spiral Stirred Mill

Vertical spiral stirred mills are energy-efficient equipment for wet regrinding and fine grinding. For particle sizes of -6mm and below, they save 30-50% energy compared to conventional horizontal ball mills, with an additional 20% savings when using ceramic media. With a fixed shell, the spiral agitator drives internal pulp and media in an orderly motion. Utilizing centrifugal force, gravity, and friction between pulp-media and media-media, it achieves regrinding and fine grinding with internal automatic classification to reduce over-grinding.

Applications:
Vertical spiral stirred mills are suitable for regrinding and fine grinding of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals, and non-metallic minerals, typically forming a closed-circuit grinding process with hydrocyclones.Recommended optimal particle size range: feed F80=150μm, product P80=20μm.The KLM vertical mill has installed power of 3-1500kW, volume of 0.05-80m³, and capacity of 3-3000t/d.
