Magnetic Arc
The magnetic arc is a high-efficiency arc-shaped iron removal device, mainly composed of a lifting drum, a magnetic system, an iron-receiving trough (or spiral forced discharge mechanism), and a base When the mill discharges, ferromagnetic substances such as broken steel balls in the slurry are captured by the magnetic field and adsorbed onto the inner surface of the lifting drum. As the lifting drum rotates and lifts, when they reach the non-magnetic area at the top, they fall into the funnel-shaped iron-receiving trough (or spiral forced discharge mechanism) under the action of inertia and gravity and are discharged, realizing the separation of materials from broken steel balls.
Applications:
It is suitable for removing broken steel balls generated in the grinding circuits of non-ferrous metal mines and non-metallic mines. In a crushing-grinding system composed of a semi-autogenous mill and a "pebble" crusher, it automatically recovers broken steel balls and iron filings from the mill discharge, reducing "tramp iron" damage to the pebble crusher. Adding a magnetic arc for iron removal at the ball mill discharge end can reduce failures and wear caused by broken steel balls to downstream equipment such as slurry pumps, spiral classifiers, cyclones, and their pipelines.
